RIVERSIDE, Calif., July 6, 2023 - Bourns, Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components for power, protection, and sensing solutions, announced today that it has acquired the fuel level sensor product line assets of CTS Corporation (NYSE: CTS), a global leader in the design and manufacturing of electronic components, sensors and actuators. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

CTS Corporation's fuel level elements and fully integrated sensors are specially designed and manufactured to perform in total immersion environments such as fuel tanks. The sensing element will withstand a variety of petroleum-based fuels and liquids and is adaptable for stationary or portable tanks. These products are often integrated in the fuel supply module of passenger cars or other combustion engine vehicles. Both custom fuel level sensor designs, and complete sensor assemblies can be provided depending on customer needs.
